The Marieholm link is proceeding
The work with the new Marieholm link proceeds according to plan and the design of the Southern Marieholm bridge is just completed. Now, we are working with the design of the changes for the existing Marieholm bridge as well as the remote control location for the Göta Älv bridge. We are also working on digitizing old electrical documents in the CAD-module Elprocad plan, as well as updating bronze circuit diagrams and function descriptions.
Back in 1990, the last major work was done on Marieholm bridge, as our syster company Emil Lundgren in Gothenburg, together with the branch in Trollhättan switched the control system on the existing Marieholm bridge. That is what we are now changing into the Siemens so called S7 H-system. We are one of very few companies in Sweden who knows this system and we would gladly assist more customers to secure the operation.
The work with the swing bridges for the Marieholm link will be in progress in 2015 and 2016. We will keep you updated with photos and information during the project.
